In 1991, at the Fukushima Prefecture Agricultural Laboratory, "Yatanishiki No. 1" and "Dewa Chan々" were bred, and it was officially registered as a new variety of sake rice in 2003. It contains the same amount of heart white as Five Million Stones, and is also a large particle variety.
